Easter! yahoo.
We had a wonderful Easter. Cory set out Easter eggs during the night so the children could find them in the morning and when they woke up and found their eggs the raccoons had gotten their Easter egg hunt first - yes almost all the eggs were open and were eaten into! how funny, an Easter to remember. Mom sang in the choir and we had a full house over for eater dinner. We even went to a baptism the day before and were blessed to witness two confirmations, so many wonderful ways to truly celebrate the true meaning of Easter and the wonderful message that Christ brings to all our lives.

This is Vigo and his entertaining tactics for all the girls out there. He is such a sweetie. We were at the zoo this day (same day as the elephant pics) but we are in the children's area. They have story time and lots of fun little activities.
This is our local zoo elephant - get this when I was a little itty bitty I rode this elephant, you see back then they had elephant rides and I asked the trainer how long this elephant had been around and she said it was the one that gave rides! wow! in the very same ring too.
Our really amazing friend Camille joined us for this trip to the zoo this day. This little cutie pie in the pics is her baby Lilly. what fun!

The school had a Fiesta Float for the kids, our floats looked great before the car ride, with all the motion in the car all the dolls, and horses fell over. Then the wheels got stuck, the funny thing was that Vigo's float was the one that worked the whole time and he didn't even go to school yet. Poor Maya got heat stroke symptoms but I think the heat compounded with the embarrassment of her float not being the best made for the attack. Well all in all everyone had a great time making the floats and displaying them, now we know better and next year, Watch out!
